Step 1: Select the Scan Plugins option from the Tools Menu.
Tools Menu → Scan Plugins
Step 2: In the Plugin Scanner window, click the Options button.
Choose the plugin format you want to scan. A progress modal appears while the plugin list populates in the scanner.

Tip: Clearing the list and rescanning plugins can help detect newly installed plugins.
